Companies want to the most of their time at the 2024 International Roofing Expo in Las Vegas in February, so a top strategy is “divide and conquer.”
IRE has served as the industry’s annual hub for products, equipment, educational sessions and networking for more than 65 years. With over 500 exhibitors and dozens of educational tracks and building clinics planned for the three-day event, having multiple team members with you in Las Vegas can help make the most of everything IRE offers.
Whether you bring the whole team or a smaller cohort to IRE, here are six key places to focus your time and energy:
Exhibit hall: The bread and butter of this event will cover more than 180,000 square feet of space, hosting over 600 companies.
Educational tracks: Eight tracks will cover 45 topics across 100-plus sessions providing conversation and training on challenges and opportunities facing the roofing and exteriors industries.
Exterior pavilion: Launched in 2022 and continuing to grow, this exclusive space features demonstrations and practices for exterior replacement projects.
Building clinics: These demonstrations will highlight roofing and metal products installation, as well as innovative materials such as ethylene propylene diene terpolymer (EPDM) and thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO).
Community service day: This 15th annual event takes place Feb. 5, gathering suppliers and contractors to give back to the region through hands-on restoration in Las Vegas residential housing. Rebuilding Together and IRE will partner for a full day to volunteer to make critical home repairs for displaced neighbors, assisting with roof replacements, exterior maintenance and various renovations.
Networking: The National Roofing Contractors Association will host multiple events throughout the show including the annual NRCA ROOFPAC Fundraising Reception and the NRCA awards ceremony. Additional networking includes the sixth annual National Women in Roofing Day conference (Feb. 4), the First-Time Attendee Reception (Feb. 6) followed by the IRE Welcome Party and the SRS Distribution Extreme Tailgate Party, with outdoor entertainment and activities to meet and engage with other roofers at IRE.
