Roofing & Exteriors (R&E) and the International Roofing Expo (IRE) are excited to announce new IRE show tie-ins for roofers who enter the 2022 Power Players. Power Players is an industry recognition program that celebrate roofers most successful business attributes and is sponsored by SRS Distribution. Entries are due May 1. Click here to nominate your company today!

Roofers who fill out an online entry form are now eligible for a Super Pass to the IRE 2023 show in Dallas—valued at more than $500. Power Player honorees will also be recognized in a VIP section at the IRE Welcome Party, as well as a VIP registration line. Honorees will further be recognized with special badges at the IRE show.

Power Player honorees also will be recognized on R&E with shareable online slides featuring company logos, staff photos, along with key company identifiers and attributes. The honorees will receive continuing coverage through 2022. Companies that enter the competition but are not chosen may also be recognized online as honorable mentions. In addition to online coverage, Power Player honorees will receive helpful marketing resources to publicize and promote their designation as a Power Player company.

The Power Players list will identify the strongest roofing firms based on 10 key business divers:

  1. Annual revenue

  2. Residential revenue

  3. Commercial revenue

  4. Community engagement

  5. Social media use

  6. Innovation and growth

  7. Diversity efforts

  8. Technology adoption

  9. Culture creation

  10. Competitive advantages

SRS logo CMYK-01.pngTo be considered for the Power Players list, companies need only submit their application via an online questionnaire no later than May 1. The final list, published in June, will be determined by the answers companies submit and will be based on a diverse range of discretionary criteria, as well as a review by the R&E staff.

“What’s so exciting about this list is the way it will distinguish itself from other industry lists through rich data that tells a story focused on important industry values and business drivers,” said Rachel Williams, R&E chief editor. “But with only a few spots available, the competition will be fierce.”

Additonal Power Player sponsorship opportunities are also available. Participating companies will not only be recognized as sponsores, but will also receive exclusive access to valuable composite industry data from both R&E and the IRE. Contact Rick Strachan at [email protected] or Tami Svarfvar at [email protected] for more information about sponsorship opportunities.

Questions about entry forms or the Power Players list may be directed to Gary Thill at [email protected]. We look forward to seeing your entries!
