3D Printing Luncheon and Forum
Thursday, Jan. 25
Hosted by WOC360 powered by ConstructioNext, the media brand of the World of Concrete.
3D construction printing is one of the fastest-growing concrete techniques in residential and commercial construction. But when any innovation enters the market, adoption can be challenging. Contractors and producers using 3D printing are encountering several constraints limiting acceptance by code officials and design professionals.
This editorial luncheon and forum will focus on the challenges contractors face as they bring this application to the field. During the interactive, peer-to-peer event, a panel of industry experts also will attempt to reach consensus on how the industry should merge its efforts to advance 3D construction printing.
Topics of discussion include:
Developing a common message that supports all types of additive manufacturing techniques.
Unifying the industry’s message to dispel common myths associated with 3D technology.
Determining criteria for quality acceptance.
Creating a pathway to residential and commercial code compliance.
Fee: $115; $150 after Dec. 12. For more information and registration, click here.
