Jobsite Hazards Should be Reported by Workers

Shelley Scalzo Brown, corporate safety director for Bergelectric and presenter, discussed the need for every construction worker’s voice to be heard, especially those in underrepresented groups.  

Brown also discussed the need for companies to increase their culture by funding initiatives focused on diversity, equity and inclusion that may better help employers understand where their workers are coming from and meet them at a level where they feel empowered to report on jobsite safety.
