The Ins and Outs of Building Codes to Help Builders Get Ahead
In this installment of our video series, Pool & Spa Professional Matthewson breaks down common code issues and how to avoid them, as well as how to leverage building codes to get ahead in your business. According to Matthewson, many of the new building codes around deck construction are not the typical mandatory codes that restrict what builders can do. "They're the codes that are pre-engineered design codes," he said. "This is the first time ever we've had that in residential building codes."
Supreme Court Blocks OSHA's Vaccine Mandate
In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court on Thursday reinstated the stay on OSHA's ETS. In its ruling, the Court stated that Congress hasn't given OSHA 'the power to regulate public health more broadly.'
