Atlanta native Chip Wade has building in his blood, coming from a long line of experienced engineers, carpenters and craftsmen. Chip began working with his father at an early age – and over the years, developed an interest in design and the creation of one-of-a-kind builds. About the Pinhoti Peak Showhouse Project
The Pinhoti Peak Showhouse was designed as a private retreat and can also be used as an event space. The location includes multiple outdoor activities and destinations such as a shooting range, ATV trail, hiking, a pool and an outdoor kitchen.
The house features a steel and timber frame and expansive glass, providing endless mountain views. Outside, you will find a covered and connected outdoor living area with a fireplace and hot tub. The property includes an RV hookup point for extra accommodation and a custom garage with ATV storage. The 4,700-square-foot house includes five bedrooms and four bathrooms, featuring the latest building envelope and construction products. The modern energy-efficient property has smart home connectivity and will showcase the latest decor trends.
Pinhoti Peak is located on 10 acres on the top of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It borders 60,000+ acres of national forest on all sides, with expansive hardwood views to the horizon in all directions. The Pinhoti trail, a 350+ mile hiking and ATV trail, literally borders the property, giving access to OHV trailers (for ATVs, side by sides and dirt bikes) through the national forest on designated trails for over 20 miles with no people or structures anywhere in site - true wilderness. This will play into the recreational theme of a destination location, which is another very popular trending pastime for families.
