Haviland Launches Unfiltered Legends Podcast

Haviland Pool and Spa Products announced the launch of a new podcast series designed for and by "pool legends." 

The goal of the podcast is to highlight the pool and spa industry and all the fun and funny stories that come with building, servicing and selling pools and spas.  

Hosted by John "The Legend" Bokor, director of sales at Haviland, a 30-year pool veteran who teamed up with John Bereza to create some fun and unfiltered podcasts about the people in and around the pool and spa industry.   

“There are so many terrific people and great and hilarious stories that are shared among us at tradeshows and industry gatherings, so we decided it was time to bring some of the stories and laughter to others in a podcast format,” Bokor said.  

“The long-term goal is to help increase industry awareness and share the funny and professional side of supplying backyard living," added Mackenzie Klahr, marketing manager for Haviland Enterprises, Inc. “We are interviewing anyone interested in sharing their story in the pool and spa world.”  

While the idea was the brainchild of both Johns, they added Jana Bereza,a Haviland sales rep, from her ranch in Texas to help with the interviews plus Klahr, a former news reporter, to create intros, commercials and to class up the group.  

“Some people have asked about our logo,” Bereza said. “What I can say is that we all work at Haviland—an employee-owned pool chemical company, so we kinda know how the pool hotdogs are made…but more importantly, we love telling stories and what better way to enjoy listening to a podcast than enjoying a hot dog while listening.”
